- Stay away from drinking: While alcohol is known to make you feel happy and relaxed (at least for a while) it will also bring your testosterone levels down. Even moderate intake of alcohol can wreak havoc on the level of testosterone. So what should you do? Go moderate and drink not more than a glass of wine or two glasses of beer a night and you should be okay with the testosterone levels.
- Avoid stress and tension: Well, this is something that we hear a lot and something that is easier to say than do. But think about this – stress can actually depress the testosterone levels. Stress can make cortisol to increase which will then lower the body’s capacity to produce testosterone and use it within the tissues. You can relieve stress through some cardiovascular workouts which will increase the endorphin levels and help combat stress. But do be careful no to over do it as this too can cause fatigue which can decrease your testosterone levels.
